There are biblical associations that the mark of the beast, tattoos, and cutting are actually ancient pagan rituals associated with death cults. As our modern era is far removed from death cults, except for a few elite organizations, we do not understand the association and danger of a gateway or portal to demonic activity that cutting, tattoos, and mark(s) leave us vulnerable.
Cutting yourself for the Dead
In the Old Testament, cutting ones body, seret; שָׂרֶטֶת, sareteth, and tattooing was a forbidden practice because they were associated with cultic and ceremonial idolatry. This cutting of the flesh for the dead, forbidden in Leviticus. 19:28; 21:5; Deuteronomy. 14:1; Jeremiah. 16:6 41:5, 48:37; Ezekiel 9:4; and 1 Kings, 18:28.
Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:28
The world today appears to be obsessed with tattoos, body piercings, and markings of all kinds. Some see this as psychological crisis, while others suggest self mutilation is the spirit of paganism, rampant around the world.
In Leviticus 19:28 we read, "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord" (Leviticus 21:5, Deuteronomy. 14:1). The practices prohibited here are self inflicted wounds and, literally, writing of imprintment marks in ones skin, as a sign of mourning for the dead. We see that with the NanoCube and forthcoming technologies that these NanoCubes are inscribed using lithography and then sealed using cryptography so the person allowing access to their body has no idea what is truly being inserted. Is it writing some sort of curse, pledge, or calling forth the ancient fallen angels and giants into animation or manifestation?
What dead are these unwitting souls imprinting themselves? I would humbly submit that they are calling forth the nephilim, giants, and disembodied spirits seeking embodiment. Ritual cutting of the flesh was believed to allow a man to enter the realm of the dead. Ritual mutilation is a declaration that the realm of the dead is open to man, a portal if you will; thus the man who learns to manipulate the supernatural believes that he/she has power over life and death. Life and death are no longer the sole prerogative of God. As with all pagan rites, it is an act of defiance. Cutting of one's own flesh was also carried out in order to force divine beings to act on behalf of the ritualist as we see in 1 Kings 18:28. Today, the world at large no longer wants the God of the Bible. Adherents are cutting themselves or allowing themselves to be cut, to force Satan to take his earthly throne.
Is There a Difference Between You Cutting or Forced Cutting?
The language is very precise so what is the difference between cutting yourself and allowing someone to cut you?
Technically, when we allow or consent due to fear or coercion, your action of cutting is self inflicted, because we had a choice to cut or not to cut. You allowed your mind to be seduced into cutting, tattooing or marking by the siren calls of the fallen ones.
Once you have been cut, marked (except for the coming Mark), or tattooed about all one can do is repent and claim the blood of Jesus. Some minor cosmetic surgery and other things can minimize the mutilation, but you will always bear the scars of this sin unless they are Divinely removed. Sin bears a cost, and although we repent, many times we bear the scar of that sin, as a reminder to ourselves to be mindful not to engage in sinful practices.
Be Set Apart My People
God designed this prohibition of ceremonial cutting and tattooing to keep His people Set Apart and unique from all other peoples of the world. Followers of God do not manipulate supernatural forces to influence God. However, as we clearly see in the early stages of preparation for the Mark, nefarious forces desire to harness the unwilling. Through a series of incantations and ritualistic hooks the adherent is trapped into a net of fear. This process is animalistic and draws its participants into practices which mimic the natural realm, rather than the heavenly, which is why we clearly see biomimicry mirrored over and over in the science, that will soon be presenting to us the Mark..
Remember, that the yoke of Jesus is easy and His burden is light. God's law is clearly defined and His forgiveness is freely given. The truth of the Gospel sets a man free from fear and bondage and lifts him up to the heavens in Christ as we see in Ephesians. 1:3, 2:6. As a consequence, our every attitude and action is a song of worship and adoration to our King, the alternative is worship to the beast.
Tattooing and piercing practiced in America is related to ritual death cults. The essence of the ancient pagan practice was rebellion against God's order. Paul says very clearly that mankind knows deep within Himself the truth concerning God, because what may be known of God, is manifest in them for God has shown it to them. ...although they knew God they did not glorify Him as God, Romans 1:19, 21.
Self mutilation as practiced today is an act of defiance. Alas, as our culture continues its slide into the abyss, expressing rebellion increasingly takes on the character of the demonic.
Christians of any age, need to understand that their entire life is to be lived in worship of God and in holiness. Worship doesn't end once we walk out the church door on Sunday afternoon. The Sunday service is supposed to equip us with the material of worship which we fashion into soaring poems of praise, throughout the week as we live a life in submission to the King. There is no area of life that is exempt. At all times we worship. .
The act of cutting flesh as a mourning practice was prevalent in several Ancient Near-East cultures. Examination of ancient Canaanite mourning rituals reveals one possible source for the practice. John Huehnergard and Harold Lebowitz's recent University of Texas dissertation describes a lament for Pagan deity, Baal, by his father, El, and sister, Anat during which El descends from his throne and makes cuts in his flesh and face. This was a practice emulated by ancient Ugarites and disseminated throughout Pagan culture. Similar rituals were found in Mesopotamian texts as well.
According to the Mathew Henry commentary:
They must not make cuts or prints in their flesh for the dead; for the heathen did so to pacify the infernal deities they dreamt of, and to render them propitious to their deceased friends.
It was the custom of the Amorites, when anyone died, to cut their flesh, as it was of the Scythians, as Herodotus relates, even those of the royal family; for a king they cut off a part of the ear, shaved the hair round about, cut the arms about, wounded the forehead and nose, and transfixed the left hand with arrows.
So the Carthaginians, who might receive it from the Phoenicians, being a colony of theirs, used to tear their hair and mouths in mourning, and beat their breasts; and with the Romans the women used to tear their cheeks in such a manner that it was forbid by the law of the twelve tables, which some have thought was taken from hence: and all this was done to appease the infernal deities, and to give them satisfaction for the deceased, and to make them propitious to them, as Varro affirms; and here it is said to be made "for the soul", for the soul of the departed, to the honor of it, and for its good, though the word is often used for a dead body.
In the Jewish canons, Aben Ezra observes, there are some that say this is in connection with the preceding clause, for there were who marked their bodies with a known figure, by burning, for the dead; and he adds, and there are to this day such, who are marked in their youth in their faces, that they may be known; these prints or marks were made with ink or black lead, or, however, the incisions in the flesh were filled up therewith; but this was usually done as an idolatrous practice; so says Ben Gersom, this was the custom of the Gentiles in ancient times, to imprint upon themselves the mark of an idol, to show that they were his servants.
There is a reference in 1 Kings 18 to false prophets cutting themselves in the "showdown" between the prophets of Baal and Elijah.
Marking the Living and the Dead
I was at governmental meetings where it was decided after the Indonesian Tsunami of 2004 to mark the living and the dead. This was for purposes of identification during a disaster. This identification will be edited and inserted DNA that will replace much of the identification you now carry and will be your gateway to transactions and exchanges in the beast system order.
Angelic Warning
There are four further references in Revelation to the mark of the beast. The angel warns that those who receive the mark of the beast and worship him will drink the cup of God’s wrath, Revelation 14:9–11.
Word of Jesus Says those taking Mark will Drink from Cup of Wrath
There is some very strange theological fire out there these days. For instance some are saying Jesus is all powerful and he/she can take the Mark of the beast of prey and they will be fine because Jesus will remove the Mark and they will be fine.However the Word of God, and recall Jesus is the Word made flesh, says otherwise, so listen well ye servants of God:
When the first angel pours out the first bowl of wrath, this falls on those who have the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image, Revelation 16:2.
At the destruction of the beast and the false prophet, the latter is described as deceiving those who received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image Revelation, 19:20.
Finally, those who reign with Christ during the millennium are those who did not worship the beast or receive his mark Revelation 20:4.
In those (these) days Christianity will become a capital offense—for only those who followed Christ were unwilling to worship the Beast’s image. This will result in universal persecution. Note that the false prophet is “allowed to perform” miracles to deceive people (13:14) and “was given power to give breath” (13:15). Both verses use the Greek passive, edothe, which means that God permitted these events to occur (see also 13:5–6). This is not the power of Satan, but rather God giving people over to their reprobate mind and to be seduced by deception.
Mark my words, the mark will be presented to the public with the thick fog of warlike deception. Believer's think that the mark will be presented from a 'person' in a red devil suit with horns and a pitchfork. The polluting the blood of humanity failed in Genesis 6.. Satan only one last chance. This is the end game to taint humanity, to the degree God rejects them, and they become residents of the Satanic realm.
13:16–17 He required everyone—great and small, rich and poor, slave and free—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name. We see this exact language in the Book of Esther when the annihilation decree went forth.
The false prophet went further in the worship of the Beast by requiring everyone, no matter their age or social status, to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. This mark of the Beast was designed to mock the seal that God had already placed on his followers (7:2–3). Just as God had marked his people to save them, so Satan’s Beast marks his people to save them from the persecution that he would inflict upon God’s followers. Those who accept it show their allegiance to Satan, their willingness to operate within the economic system he promotes, and their rebellion against God. To refuse the mark meant to commit oneself entirely to God, preferring death to compromising one’s faith in Jesus Christ.
People will be coerced to worship the Beast in order to receive the mark which allows them to be able to buy or sell anything. Clearly those who refuse the mark will be set up for economic ruin, homelessness, and hunger. No one will be able to buy or sell anything without the mark of the Beast. Those who receive the brand of the Beast will be readily identifiable.
Now is the time to prepare your Spirit, mind, and body for what we are facing very soon. The good news is that there is victory in Jesus! He does provide for His people.
