Haazinu: Waiting for the Great King

 

We continue our journey of the significance of the petroglyphs at Gobekli Tepe and what meaning they may present to each one of us, especially in the days to come.

The T shaped structures found at many archaeological sites indicates the surface of the earth, “ shaped signs for below the surface, and the flowing streams of water.

The pillar is composed of two rectangles, positioned vertically and horizontally, representing, a vertical-place, and a horizontal-place representing the heavens and the earth. The blue Bird or Eagle and the (light blue, red, and green) serpent are positional, in the middle of the horizontal place, thus, at the center. 

Depicted in Native American sign language, we learn that the center represents the cosmological center of the earth, and is functioned as the focal center for a given ancient culture. Originally, such centers were focused on natural mountain or hillside spring sites that were considered doorways or portals between the underworld, the earth’s surface, and the sky.  

The carvings were an intricate piece of artwork and communication that included a sophisticated understanding on many topics including: 

• Cycle of life and death
  
• Water (hydrological) cycle including evaporation. 
• Cyclical and wondrous phenomena in the cosmos 
• Primitive understanding of the spirit dimension 
• The invisible unseen realms 
• Transformation of creatures, such as butterflies, and the spiritual transformation of the spirit, such as man forsaking their divine inheritance or soul for an animal soul.
  
• Afterlife 

Possibly, because of the significance of water, it was believed that individuals who died, had their spirit plunged into the underworld, where the spirit became a female-water-spirit.

Faith Lesson:  In what realm do I live.  Physical or spiritual?  Lord help me look to You in all things.

Dew of the Resurrection

Ancient biblical cultures believed that water hydrated the dry bones, which Ezekiel talks about concerning the Resurrection of the Dead. 

“And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.”  Ezekiel 37:3

Dew as the vivifying power is used as a simile of God in Hosea 6:5.  It also symbolizes freshness we see in Psalms 3, "the dew of thy youth".   Lastly, it is associated with resurrection: "A dew of herbs is thy dew, and the earth shall cast off the spirits of the dead", Isaiah 36:19.

According to ancient legends, the "dew of the Resurrection" is also stored up in 'Arabot, the highest heaven. By this dew the dead are revived. In  Psalms.118:10 refers to: "Thou didst send a plentiful rain to revive thine inheritance".

While many people speculate that life emerged from single cell organisms from another world it is possibly that earth just unlocked its frozen snowball if life bestowing water catapulting a surge of life upon the world and nourishing the Garden of Eden.

The inhabitants of Gobekli Tepe believed this transformation was caused by the spirit being within the domain of the earth that was considered a great female-spirit. The spirit became caught up in the currents, represented by serpents of the watery underworld. Eventually, a current of water, a stream, arose to the surface of the earth as a spring site. This was often described as the mouth, a water source, of the serpent or the mouth of the earth. Any depiction of a mouth represents a water source. Ancient compositions often refer to the spring site as, the center of the earth. Such centers also were also a cosmological center or focus for any given culture, which makes sense as water was essential for life. 

Creation myth of the Bible begins with the separation of heaven and earth, giving rise to a three-story universe that includes heaven above, earth in the middle, and the underworld below. Elohim, God the Father reigns in the heavens with His Divine Council.

Faith Lessons:  Lord, Living Water, vivify my bones that have become weary from this End Time journey.  Thou knowest, and can restore my sou, for Your Namesake.

The Great Eagle Luminaries, and Griffen's

Continuing with our translation of the composition at this archeological site, we make note of the fact, that the imagery of the bird and serpents are composed of smaller composite signs. The blue bird indicates, the one that flies, is probably in the form of a bird of prey such as an Eagle or Hawk. Such birds, in ancient times, represented the great hunter of the daytime, a metaphor for the Sun.

While many a Bible student does not interpret ancient man with prophecy they did however study the stars and those stars testified to all generations of man the creation story according to Reverend Bullinger in 1893.

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets.  Hebrews 11:1

The nocturnal sun, the moon,or lesser luminary, was represented by a feline, the great hunter of the nighttime. At a much later date, the overall form for the sun became a compound sign using the feline body with an eagle’s head, which is now called a Griffin.

Griffins first appeared in the Middle East carvings around 7th century BC.  It was said that King Solomon’s throne had Griffin depictions upon it.  Representations of griffin-like hybrids with four legs and a beaked head appeared in Ancient Iranian and Ancient Egyptian art dating back to before 3000 BC. In Egypt, a griffin-like animal can be seen in a cosmetic palette from Hierakonpolis, known as the "Two Dog Palette", which is dated to c. 3300-3100 BC.. In Iranian mythology, the griffin is called Shirdal, which means "Lion-Eagle".

Has mankind dabbled in chimera engineering way into the past?  Or, are these representations merely likened unto a mythological chimera lion-eagle?  Large claws of the griffin, in reality mammoth claws, became the rage for cups during the Middle Ages.

In cosmology, one sees the sun and moon, planets and stars aligning, and intersecting creating a number of animals in the sky which to early man had great symbolism as portents with geological, climatological, astrological, cultural, and sociological significance for the affairs of mankind on earth.

Faith Lesson:  I pray, dear Lord Jesus, that no matter the hunter: luminary, bestial man such as Nimrod, fierce weather or astronomical phenomena, or chimera, I find myself protected under the shadow of Your wings.  I claim Psalm 91 as my promise. 

The Eagle

As we enter this discussion one thing may greatly trouble you.  It appears as though the serpent is interchangeable to inhabitants of Gobekli Tepe.  How can this be so to the bible student?  There are several bible concepts we can draw upon.

In the Book of Esther, the King of Kings Jesus) and king Ahasuerus are interchangeable. Although king Ahasuerus appears to us to be a benevolent king to us, he was in fact, a barbaric heathen, antithetical to biblical character.   We must look to the text carefully to distinguish which king the Divine Author is describing.  Iron sharpening iron.

Another lesson we can learn from scripture, is the great difficulty the prophets must have had describing their vivid visions and dreams to the common people.  Were these persons carving these petroglyphs trying their best to describe events upon the earth and heavens in a way that themselves and future generations could understand?

Lastly, just as the bible can be understood on many different levels could we examine these writings in the same way?  Possibly, they describe life upon earth, or events in the heavens, or was God testifying to them so they would have no excuse to chose Jesus or not, despite having no bible?

The Eagle’s Wings demonstrate the eagle in flight with slash marks that represent feathers, the ones, the parts, in flight. 

 The biblical prophets penned many verses about eagles as well as the other animals depicted at Göbekli Tepe .  Do we not read in the Holy Writ:

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.  Revelation 12:14

For thus saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.  Jeremiah 48:40

The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.  Proverbs 30:19

As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.  Ezekiel 1:10

Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.  Jeremiah 49:22

Loosely associated we should recall another verse about flight:

Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.  Matthew 24:20

Faith Lesson:  May my soul take flight with Your Spirit and may my flight only to unto Your bosom. 

The Waiting Place

Positional, on the side of, the green rectangle, the place, that has the slanting, rightward stance which indicates, waiting. The waiting-place.  

We find many verses in scripture about waiting upon the Lord.  Ponder this one:

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay.  Habakkuk 2:3    

As we peer to the heavens, in the cosmological, we await a series of cyclical alignments of celestial bodies that will radically alter life upon the face of the earth as all the cycles of time put into effect by God, Laws of Nature if you will, forge their mark upon land, man, and beast alike.

At Göbekli Tepe, the eagle’s Talons, in black, forms the sign for the doorway or the portal. In sign language, this sign is a gesture sign for the frame and lintel of a doorway. This resulted in a Pi-shaped sign for a portal. The sign’s stance is leftward slanting, which indicates, stopped, at the portal. 

Of course, the lintel is an important feature in the Bible.  It was a horizontal beam placed above a doorway, made of either wood or stone. The two upright posts on either side of the door which supported the lintel were called “jambs” or simply “doorposts.” 

In Exodus 12:11–13, the Israelites are instructed to prepare for the tenth plague, the plague of death, and for the first Passover. After killing a lamb, the people were to take the blood and “put it on the two door-posts and the lintel of the houses. 

Left leaning, in biblical times, was a sign of freedom.  It is customary to sit left leaning during the Passover Seder, recounting the story of freedom. 

The Gobekli Tepe Temple relates to a metaphor for the watery underworld and rebirth of the spirit.  Earth was a 'Waterworld' covered by a global ocean without any continent's years ago, study claims, Link .  Supposedly, based on study of rocks in Northwestern Australia's outback, Earth's life inhabited a world with hardly any dry land.  Scientists compare the ancient Earth with the future in 1995 film Waterworld, an apocalyptic future after the Pole Shift, Link. Will we return to this state in the future?  Time will tell.

The waiting-place. The waiting-place sign is in contact with the serpent’s throat which is considered the connecting tunnel between the mouth-the water source, and the stomach, the container.  

Biblically speaking, are we at the waiting place of the Lord and His salvation?  Do we have oil in our lamps for that day, represented by the stomach?

Let us ponder the words of Ezekiel the prophet:

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

² So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

³ And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

⁴ And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

⁵ For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;

⁶ Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

⁷ But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

⁸ Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

⁹ As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.  Ezekiel 3

Faith Lesson:  Help me dear Jesus to wait upon You. 

Jesus Pointing to the Direction

Next, we see outlined in light blue male-spirit sign in a form based on the glans penis [yes, I know that is graphic]. The tan Tail of the Serpent is a finger pointing a direction, here, on the surface-line created by the back of the serpent below it. 

An additional blue green-lined serpent is included in the translation because of its pink mouth, the water source, is in contact with the green lined rectangle, which as we recall represents the waiting place.  

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.  Revelation 11:19

 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring..  Luke 21:25-28

The Bible also speaks to the waiting place of those who wait for signs in the cosmos:

But for you who fear My name [with awe-filled reverence] the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go forward and leap [joyfully] like calves [released] from the stall. Malachi 4:2

Illustration 5: Eagle Grasping Serpent in its Talons The gesture sign for a cat, a feline, is made by pushing up the nose to make it flat or the flat nosed one. We can see the (light brown) Flat Nosed One in contact with the Eagle.  

Its front Leg, its Arm, the warrior, is composed by, a relatively, large (light tan) Finger pointing a direction here.  

The finger points at the feline, the nocturnal sun that we know as the moon. Positional, the finger is, on the side of, the red lined triangle, which indicates, the female or life giving earth to primitive cultures, but in the Bible: 

And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.  And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars.  And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.  Genesis 1 

Faith Lesson:  Jesus point me in the direction that You want me to go and cause me to only fear You with humility, awe, and reverence. 

The Winged Serpent Imagery

Combinations of the Bird-Serpent were found worldwide in ancient times.  

See examples below: Basically, the Winged Serpent imagery relates to the flight of a stream of water to the sky (evaporation of water). The feathers were considered, the parts of water in flight, (water-particles).  There is an interesting interplay of words in the Hebrew between clouds and Anan, possibly Anunnaki, check it out, Link. 

It is from this kind of metaphor that the Feathered Serpent of the Maya and Aztecs was conceptualized.

 

 

The bill or beak is the water source.

Many ancient cultures perceive hillside springs and sites having water seepage or pools, sourced by subterranean water, as doorways for the spirits arising to the stars or gods.  The Bible is replete with verses about the Living Water, Jesus, our Savior. 

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.  John 7:37-39  

Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”  Revelation 21:6-8  

Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  Revelation 22:1-2  

To date, no hillside spring or evidence of one, has been yet discovered at Gobekli Tepe. There are two cisterns nearby, but it is not known when they were made. However, at some period the cisterns would have provided water from rain runoff. Even a small amount of rain falling in an area with a collection system and cistern can collect thousands of gallons of precious water.  It is quite likely that there were natural springs in the area when this primitive temple was first founded.  The climate was much more temperate than the arid than the one that exists today. Because of the abundance of limestone in the area, it is possible that whatever springs that originally existed at Gobekli Tepe, may have been naturally carbonated water. While there may have been many springs, carbonated water, may have caused some excitement and perceived as the presence of spirits in the water.  

Faith Lesson:  May I receive Your Living Water to sustain me in these End Days.

Waconda Spring 

We can see evidence of this belief system at the Waconda Spring, or Great Spirit Spring, a natural artesian spring located in the State of Kansas. It is a sacred site for Native American. The name "Waconda" is from the Kanza language and translates as "spirit water" or "Great Spirit Spring".  It is a mysterious crater of water in Mitchell County, Kansas. This large saltwater spring was believed to have spiritual and healing powers. It was a mound about 300 feet wide and rising 40 feet above the surrounding Solomon River Valley.   

Why am I even going from Gobekli Tepe to Kansas?  Because a stone's throw from Powell County is the new National Bio and Agro Defense Facility (NBAF).   It is the replacement for Plum Island biowarfare experimentation facility, moved contrary to US law, right into the heart of America, just in time for the End Days.  The Heart of America will be poison and death and soon will be Ground Zero for depopulation. 

The red colored triangular shape indicates, the female-earth. Thus, the source of water, usually a spring site, could be called the mouth of the earth. The next largest form is (the partially reddish brown) shape of a vessel. The vessel was used as a metaphor for the female-earth as, the great, container.  

In biblical language, we can refer to the many passages talking about our bodies, made from the clay of the earth as a vessel so is it so far-fetched to understand this concept as earth being the container which brings forth life?

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 

2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 

3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 

4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 2 Corinthians 5 

The small rectangle at the top means, the horizontal place, on the surface line crated by the vessel. Just as our body is made of the clay of the earth (horizon terra firma) is crated ( distinguished by the barrier of our skin), made of earth but also containing the housed Spirit of God. 

The vessel is large: 

hereby we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.  1 John 4:13 

yet for us there is but one God, the Father, who is the source of all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things [that have been created], and we [believers exist and have life and have been redeemed] through Him. 1 Corinthians 8:6 

Back to the archeological site: 

The great, one, the light blue curved form indicates, the male-spirit. This form was based on the shape of the male glans-penis as a distinguisher. Its stance is one of, heading-upwards. The great, male-spirit, heading, upwards, positional, within the vessel.  This is intriguing to a Christian for God is primarily perceived as being male although as discussed earlier He contains female characteristics.  The noted male organ was know to the Tepe civilization and ancient man as the distinguisher!  There was no gender disorientation or confusion in these ancients cultures.  It took God, a man, and a woman to create life.  Both in the physical and spiritual we look up to our Father in heaven.

Faith Lesson:  Do whatever within or without to make me a container for You.

Arise O Lord to Your Resting Place

Pictorially, the serpent, the stream we have learned is the water source. The serpent’s red triangular tail is also in the form, is the female-earth. The body of the serpent shaped in the form is the sign for arising, from the red triangular, positional, surface of the female-earth, to the water source, a spring. 

This may sound peculiar to the average biblical student, but when one studies the ancient Hebrew, one discovers God is both masculine and feminine. 

It may trouble you about this so-called female spirit.  In the Holy Writ, the more compassionate and tender sides of Jesus, are generally thought of as female characteristics.  Here is a link to explore that concept more fully:  Link  

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  Genesis 1:27 

Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily. Psalm 74:22

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  Acts 20:30

Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place,
You and the ark of Your strength.
 Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness,
And let Your saints shout for joy.  Psalm 132:8-9

At Gobekli Tepe on the other side of the beak or the mouth, the water-source, is the gray blue male-spirit, positional, on the side, of the red female-earth.

In cosmology, is this a particular alignment resulting in catastrophe?  Something ancient peoples witnessed and recorded verbally and in petrogyphs? 

The Eagle’s Wings its Arms, the warrior is positional, on the side, of the great, vessel that we would understand is Jesus Christ. The Form of the Wings is that of a Large, the great one, God the Father and Ancient of Days.  It appears as these ancients are describing the Triune Godhead. It can also refer, on a different level, a great cosmological and spiritual battle or war in the heavens. 

Finger positional, on the, eastern and western, sides, of, the great, vessel, (the great, container).  

I see that this could be a layout of the Temple Mount whereby Messiah Jesus will enter Jerusalem by the Eastern Gate to establish His reign.  On the cosmological side it can refer to the East-rising of the sun and West-the going down thereof. 

Cosomolgically, it can be understood as the firmament where the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, just like clock-work.

Faith Lesson:  Arise my Lord in my life.

The Face of Jesus

The Head, the Face, is appearance, of the Eagle, the daytime Sun, the Circle, the one, his location. 

In biblical terms:  

And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.  Matthew 17:2 

And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.  Matthew 28:3  

And where was the Spirit of Jesus? 

Faith Lesson:  As I see events unfold do I see beyond to the face of Jesus?

Brooding over the Face of the Waters & Peoples

The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding as an eagle) over the face of the waters. Gen 1:2 

Jesus also brooded over Jerusalem wanting to gather her like chicks: 

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!”  Mathew 23:37 

The Eye of the Sun, in the east and the west, cosmologically can be an allusion to Venus. 

Faith Lesson:  No matter the trial I will allow myself Jesus to brood over me and I will allow His protection and guidance.  

Taken into the Sky

At the top of the head, the mouth of the vessel, the opening in the vessel, is a horizontal rectangle, a horizontal place, on the surface, line created by the top of the head. The metaphor of the composition is obviously based on the observation of an eagle capturing and taking a serpent up into the sky. 

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.  Acts 1:19 

While not in sequence, because the composition is non-linear, we continue the translation at the bottom near the feet of the bird.  

Faith Lesson:  At the end of your days where will you reside?  The underworld?  With Jesus?

The Spiral Downwards into Wickedness

The light blue spiral indicates, taken downward, positional, on the side, the yellow feet, the journeys, positional, below, the green form is that of a large, the great, triangular, female-spirit.  

This really makes me think of the spirals in the sky that people have been seeing around the world and over time.  The latest spiral was seen on June 18th over the Pacific Ocean, link.  Are these a sign in the heavens that mankind is spiraling down into wickedness?

Left and right, in the east and in the west. The green squares, the house, the lineage, alludes to the position of the eyes, of the female-spirit, or the Eye of the Sun.  This could be Venus which at times aligns in a way that it looks like an eye in the middle of the sun.  Does this particular alignment have cosmological significance to inhabitants of earth? 

We are told in the beginning of the New Testament the lineage of Jesus, Link 

Cosmologically, this can be understood as Venus in the east and west. 

Faith Lesson:  I refuse, by the mighty Name of Jesus to participate in the downward spiral of lawlessness.

Nothing New Under the Sun

The Colombian composition was translated to demonstrate that the Eagle/Serpent combination found on the Pillar at Gobekli Tepe was not unusual in ancient times nor was the method used to preserve the cosmology over rime and space. The Gobekli Tepe composition used the same signs, and the same organizational structure for placement of the signs within the composition. That the Colombian composition was made between 800 and 500 BCE does not mean the system was younger than that found at Gobekli Tepe. American Indians are thought to have arrived in the Americas at least 14,000 years ago and that does not count the unknown period of time taken to migrate from the old world to the new world. No matter, the depicted sign system is far older than Gobekli Tepe.
