Season of Times

When most people hear prophecy there are two things running through their minds, hopefully, first, are to hear the words of the Lord [the message] and the other is a timeline.  I believe after examining biblical, astonomical, and many other disciplines that our tipping point towards eternity arrived between 2005-2008 and that we have now launched into the beginning steps of eternity. 

Lift up your eyes on high and see: Who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name: by the greatness of His might and because He is strong in power, not one is missing.  Isaiah 40:26

Lift up your eyes on high, exclaims the prophet, because when man does so in a thoughtful manner, he may discern the answer to the most profound of questions:  Who created these?  The attentive star-gazer must perceive that it is God who created the awe-inspiring panorama of the universe.  The overwhelming vastness of the firmament and the sheer number of stars testify to the existence of a Creator; orderliness with which He brings out the heavenly host, each one by assigned name to a fixed place in the firmament, confirms His continued providential guardianship of the universe.  We must remember these precepts for days are rapidly approaching where it will appear to us that the universe has retreated back to the chaos of creation as God was directing order. 

On the fourth day of creation God created the sun. Every twenty eight years the sun would begin its spring movement on the eve of Wednesday, at the same moment when it was emplaced in the cosmos.  It is an anniversary of sorts that should cause us to pause from our busy days and remind ourselves Who created each of us, our sun, and our earth. It is a time to look at the teeming heavens and squint at the fiery sun, to contemplate the vastness of space and our infinite God to Whim the heavens are merely a throne, to recognize anew that man matters no more in all this expanse than an electron on a tall peak, and yet man was proclaimed the master of all creation, and given the task of subduing it and making it productive, in our service to the Living Almighty God.  Sometimes a great event occurs that cries out to us, "Insignificant Homo sapiens, stop your foolish preoccupation with politics and economics of your neighbor.  There is a Power greater than you."  Ultimately, you are important only to the extent that you recognize your insignificance, strong only if you acknowledge your weakness, worthy of allegiance, only if your allegiance belongs to Jesus.

The heaven and earth in the early stages of creation can be likened unto two tablets submerged in murky water.  Precious stony jewels yet uncovered.  As the water subsides the two treasures emerge and reveal their magnificence.  These two vessels of God were enveloped with emptiness and confusion.  Slowly, the universe we know took shape.  Light, the sky, oceans and land, vegetation, the heavenly bodies, animals, and man… The dross of formlessness and lack of completion had been removed by the Divine Maker.  God arranged this metaphor to make distinction between the dross and essence.  Each of us must daily choose between the cacophonies of myriad activities camouflaging our Spirit.  We must strive to emulate our Savior.  In these days we need to be single-minded and laser focused.   

I know that I need a fresh, new, insight into what the vengeance of God will be like at the End of Days.  Unlike all of human history when good and evil are confused for one another and false philosophies clothe the most heinous or worthless deeds in a cloak of virtue, the ultimate Redemption with Jesus arriving with His heavenly host, will bathe creation in anew light of truth and clarity.  When we vacillate in our affection or loyalty to Jesus, we allow evil to exist.  Soon all our masquerades will be stripped away.  Good and evil will stand starkly separate and nakedly revealed for what they are. 

It is said that the Holy One will remove the sun from its sheath; the righteous will be healed by it as we see even today with the healing effects from the sun but the wicked will be punished and burned by it. 

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.  Psalm 119:105

When we have the Light we have clarity, we can walk and not stumble, and we can see to distinguish the grain from the chaff.  But if we have not His Light we will walk in darkness.

Blessing of the Sun

In the year 2009 you were probably unaware that the Jewish people around the world were Blessing the Sun, known as Birkat Hachama.  It is a very rare Jewish blessing that is recited to the creator, thanking Him for the sun.  The blessing is recited when the sun completes its 28 year cycle, on a Tuesday at sundown. Jewish tradition says that when the Sun completes this cycle, it has returned to its position when the world was created. Obviously, the blessing needs to be said when the sun is visible so the blessing is postponed to the following day, on Wednesday morning. Together we will explore the sun and its role in the catastrophic events of fulfilled prophecy.

I did not know much about the ceremony at the time although I felt compelled to partake in praising the Lord.  I did not comprehend what relevance it would have to my life.  That changed abruptly in December when the words from the Holy Spirit shook my Spirit, "2019 will be Fire and Ice," and so commenced a study of Catastrophism.  I did reflect that oftentimes a complete biblical cycle is 10 years.

The text of the blessing it is simply as follows:

Blessed are You, LORD, our God, King of the Universe maker of the works of Creation.

It is believed that we are so close to the time of redemption in Jesus Christ that the Blessing of the Sun will not be recited on night of Passover again in this world. That makes the blessing in the year 2009 quite unique! It will never again be said on night of Passover.

The blessing of the sun is the same blessing one would say when one sees manifestations of God in lightning or a shooting star.  All these wondrous things God created and spun into action.  Think about it.

Solar Cycle

We are currently exiting Solar Cycle 24 is the 24th solar cycle since 1755, when extensive recording of solar sunspot activity began in Western countries.  Sunspots were counted in the Far East and there is some indication they were counted by advanced ancient cultures, long since destroyed by cataclysm. This solar cycle, and began in December 2008 with a smoothed minimum of 2.2 using a SIDC formula. Reversed polarity polar active sunspot regions in December 2016, April 2018, November 2018, May 2019, and July 2019 indicate that a transitional phase to solar cycle 25 is in process.  Indeed, in the last week the activity on the sun is changing heralding Solar Cycle 25, although Solar Cycle 24 will have some residual effect on Solar Cycle 25.

There are many cycles of the sun from the 11 year sunspot cycle to the Great Year Cycle every 25,000 years.  In Judaism, the Sun has a 28-year solar cycle known as the great cycle distinct from the 25,000 cycle of years bearing the same name.  The last time that it was recited was on April 8, 2009.

Other Solar Cycles include:

28 day or one solar rotation

6 month: Earth goes through a 6-month vulnerability to geomagnetic storms during the equinox and solstice.

22 year: Known as Hale Cycle the suns polar magnetic field reverses.  This cycle appears in long-term climate data along with its harmonic cycles.

28 Creation Year:  Important to the biblical student.

44 year:  Well known harmonic of the 11/22 year cycles can be seen in hemispheric asymmetry on the sun. 

80-88 Years: Well know oscillation of solar activity often called the Gleissberg cycle.  This cycle matches Uranus' orbital period of 84 years.  It also produces a chaotic sun which impacts earth.

200 years:  Debated cycle shown in radio-carbon dating known as DeVries cycle.  The harmonic can be seen in long-term sunspot data.

400-440 Year Grand Cycle:  Includes a grand Minimum and a Grand Maximum.  The modern Grand Maximum peaked in the late 1900's and was the strongest Grand Maximum in 10,000 years!

The year prior to the blessing, 2008, the sun reversed its polarity and a sunspot appeared-a herald of Solar Cycle 24.  Solar activity remained extremely low, known as minima, throughout 2009.  

From an astronomic point of view, there is nothing special to these dates; as the sun, moon, planets and stars will not be aligned in any specific pattern.

Great and Terrible Day of the Lord

 

It was customary in biblical days up until the present to read the Torah, Prophets, and writings in a triennial manner.  The term for the prophetic portion of the triennial cycle was ashlamata which means, “that which finishes the readings.” Jesus was actually fulfilling the words that were spoken for that week as He fulfilled His ministry.  This is what everyone was aghast when Jesus did not finish the portion in Nazareth which reads:

to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn...to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.…Isaiah 61

Remember these words, for it was not the time of Jesus ministry to for His vengence, but that time has arrived.

This Ashlamata speaks of “The great and terrible day of the Lord:

 Malachi 3:20 But unto you that fear My Name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings; and ye shall go forth, and gambol as calves of the stall.

 This Ashlamata will still be in our ears when we recite this very special blessing. As we recite, we will also be remembering that the Prophet was prophesying, at this special time of the year, that we should expect the great and awesome Day of the Lord, such as what we are witnessing before our very eyes. 

The popular Hebrew word for sun, shemesh, appears over one hundred times in the Old Testament; its synonym, chama (chama means hot), appears only six times

 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation. Job 30:28

 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. Psalm 19:6

Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?  Song of Songs 6:10

Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when God of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.  Isaiah 24:23

Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that God bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.  Isaiah 30:26

In each of these verses we see the sun used in a way that is not consistent with the normal use of the sun. This suggests that our blessing has a non-normal meaning that needs to be explored.

The Blessing of the Sun falling on the day before Passover is a rare event, having occurred only three times since creation.  It is the same day as the Exodus from Egypt and the death of Jesus (redemption).  A person would be very fortunate to bless the sun on this fortuitous day.  The blessing is a confluence of events related to redemption, renewal and creation. 

Cycles of the Moon

The moon takes about twenty-eight days to go one rotation around the Earth.  The period of the moon is twenty eight days and the period of the sun is twenty eight years.  The moon returns to its creation location every nineteen years using the Metonic scale.  Interestingly, every five hundred and thirty two (28 * 19) years the sun and the moon are both back to their place at the time of creation.

Solar and Space Weather

The sun is dynamic or can go silent, such as it is right now. Do not let its silence lull you into complacency. The sun has many arrows in her quiver and many times we are the target. 

Butterfly Effect is the pattern formed by the number of sun spots.  Just as with the signs of winter from a wolly bear caterpillar the sunspot butter fly is getting smaller indicating a colder future, in alignment with our cold hearts.

Solar flares can erupt sending X-ray photons that can arrive at earth in under 8 minutes. 

There are plasma filaments that are rope-like structures of solar plasma that are suspended in the corona by magnetic forces.  Plasma filaments can release from the sun into space producing a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME).

A coronal mass ejections (CME) sends out electromagnetic shockwaves of photons at the speed of light.

CME's can cause geomagnetic storms here on earth and other planets.

Solar Energetic Particle Events (SEPS):   A solar proton event (SPE), or "proton storm", occurs when particles (mostly protons) emitted by the Sun become accelerated either close to the Sun during a flare or in interplanetary space by CME shocks. The events can include other nuclei such as helium ions and HZE ions. These particles cause multiple effects. They can penetrate the Earth's magnetic field and cause ionization in the ionosphere. The effect is similar to auroral events, except that protons rather than electrons are involved.

Geomagnetic storms:  A geomagnetic storm is a major disturbance of Earth's magnetosphere that occurs when there is a very efficient exchange of energy from the solar wind into the space environment surrounding Earth. These storms result from variations in the solar wind that produces major changes in the currents, plasmas, and fields in Earth’s magnetosphere. The solar wind conditions that are effective for creating geomagnetic storms are sustained (for several to many hours) periods of high-speed solar wind, and most importantly, a southward directed solar wind magnetic field (opposite the direction of Earth’s field) at the dayside of the magnetosphere. This condition is effective for transferring energy from the solar wind into Earth’s magnetosphere. 

Magnetic Portal:  A magnetic portal will open, linking Earth to the sun 93 million miles away. Tons of high-energy particles may flow through the opening before it closes again, around the time you reach the end of the page.

Nova:  Novae (plural of nova) are actually explosions that occur on stars near the end of their lives.

Super Nova: A supernova is the biggest explosion that humans have ever seen. Each blast is the extremely bright, super-powerful explosion of a star which includes our sun.  Scientists speculate that that suns equator does not bulge which means that the stress inside builds up and then periodically explodes out to the planets including earth.  Our earth would do the same except thatour equator does bulge providing a buffer from explosion (this may all change at some point in time).

Solar Forcing: Radiative forcing or climate forcing is the difference between insolation or sunlight absorbed by the Earth and energy radiated back to space.The influences that cause changes to the Earth's climate system altering Earth's radiative equilibrium, forcing temperatures to rise or fall, are called climate forcings. Positive radiative forcing means Earth receives more incoming energy from sunlight than it radiates to space. This net gain of energy will cause warming. Conversely, negative radiative forcing means that Earth loses more energy to space than it receives from the sun, which produces cooling.

What is provocative is that it does matter if the sun goes quiet during a minima like we are experiencing or skyrockets to a Solar Maxima that we have recently enjoyed but alas is over-the sun interacts with our planet and can cause life to flourish or go extinct.

What Protects Earth?

Our earth is surrounded by a magnetic shield.  The compression facing the sun is because the solar wind blows-back the field into this shape.  The magnetosphere is the primary shield against electromagnetic waves and charged particles. All space weather impacts our magnetosphere. Ben Davidson

The problem is that our protective magnetosphere has been collapsing for 200 years and has been recently showing signs of increasing collapse.  That bodes ill for earth as space weather slams intoour atmospheric weather causing:

• Disruption in our wather cycles and Pattern Modulation such as El Nino and La Nina Ossiliations.
• Atmospheric Pressure, Jet Streams, and Ciculation
• Decadal, Multidecadal, Quasi-Biennial Ossilations
• Temperature and Precipitation
• Thermal Coupling:  The electromagnetic coupling between the atmosphere, ionosphere, and magnetosphere. 
• Interaction with Galactic Cosmic Raysproducing ionized conditions in ambient air. 
• Space weather driven lightning, storms and cyclones

What is declared or uttered during this mysterious and rare Blessing of the Sun? It is not Kabalistic, mystical, or New Age.  The words are from the Psalms, written by the Psalmist.

Psalm 148:1-6

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

² Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. [sphere and constellations of the zodiac all praise God]

³ Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. [the brightest stars of the night]

⁴ Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

⁵ Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. [clear proclamation that acknowledging that God alone created the sun and the moon and established them as luminaries in the heavens subject to the will of God not independent powers.]

⁶ He hath also established them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. {God gave a decree that celestial bodies serve at certain times, they cannot violate His decree]

⁷ Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

⁸ Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

⁹ Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

¹⁰ Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

¹¹ Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

¹² Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

¹³ Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

¹⁴ He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

 Psalm 19

19 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

² Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

³ There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

⁴ Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

⁵ Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

⁶ His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

⁷ The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

⁸ The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁹ The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

¹¹ Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

¹² Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

¹³ Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

¹⁴ Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 121

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

² My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

³ He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

⁴ Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

⁵ The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

⁶ The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

⁷ The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

⁸ The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Psalm 150

150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

² Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

³ Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

⁴ Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

⁵ Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

⁶ Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 67

For the conductor…this is a song expressed with musical instruments.  Did this Psalm resonanate with the songs of the stars lead by God, the Conduction of music and sound?

67 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. {may He favor us with His grace

² That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.

³ Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

⁴ O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. [God judges fairly, even God and Magog, and the people will rejoice at God's justice]

⁵ Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.  [The people must thank and acknowledge that God judges and compensates each according with its deeds]

⁶ Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. [the nations will thank God and then the earth shall give its produce, famine will end]

⁷ God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

• Wednesday, 8 April 2065

But in prophetic realms and secular scients and researchers believe that a cataclysmic event will happen before those dates.  Many believe that Jesus will have returned to reestablish His righteous kingdome by that time.

Every moment in life is precious.  It is our power to join with our Creator when He said, "Let there be luminaries".  Ponder as you gaze into the heavens about the Divine wisdom that made the sun for light, energy, and life.  These are the moments that we are called upon to look beyond our fireball star and perceive the One Who placed it in the heavens, the One Who picked out galaxy out of millions, our sun out of billions, our planet out of eight or nine depending upon your count in this solar system.  And then He created you and desires intimate fellowship with you!  Truly, say yes to Jesus…

Blessed are You, O Lord my God, King of the Universe Who made the works of creation!
