It has begun, the largest human genetic hunt in human history.
10,000 volunteers have signed, up with millions of Americans targeted. When you go to your health provider this spring you can expect to be asked to donate your DNA, your unique profile, to the government and researchers. While for the purposes of research your identifiers will be masked, unknown others will know you, better than you know yourself.
It is critical to understand that once you submit your DNA you can never retract the information gleaned from it. If it falls into the hands of villains you will have no recourse.
