Changing the color of wall paint soon could be as simple as spraying the walls with water, swiping an app on a smartphone, or even just turning on the heat.

A research team in China has developed a coating that relies on nano-sized cells that can be controlled to inflate or deflate, and as a result, deflect visible light in different wavelengths. Your wall, for instance, acts like a chameleon - and changes color to match the environment.

Or imagine that you want to be cheered up, so you turn your walls to sunny yellow.  Or it is a cloudy day and you yearn for blue skies, so you modulate your wall to sky blue. 

Soon our entire environment can be changed - walls, furniture, house color scheme - to anything you want just by swiping your smart phone!  One Chinese research puts it this way, “Our paint will make these dreams come true.”

Project Research

The team, whose members work with the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) under the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), had the results of its study accepted for publication in the journal Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical.

 A research team in China has developed a nano-cell coating that can change colors rapidly by applying an electric charge – electromagnetism. 

According to the research progress report on the SIAT website, lead project scientist “Du Xuemin and his colleagues developed "a color tunable electrochemical photonic device by using redox of metal ions as the trigger to tune the band-gap of photonic crystal beads.” In other words, the cells change color to a chemical reaction, and then back to their original color, without losing any of the color quality, the team said.”

“In the core of each nano-cell is a kind of metal, such as copper. When electricity is applied to the cell, it gives it a positive charge that pulls the cell’s crystalline shell inward.”  You can also cause the reaction with water (humidity) or room temperature.

The paint does not generate its own light and unlike the screens on electronic devices - such as Amazon’s Kindle - it is cable of generating many colors. 

If we delve into the underlying structure of these cells that redistribute light, we will find that they contain Quantum Dots, the colorful track and trace hydrogel components.   We can be confident about this due to the bright colors. 

Market Challenges

The biggest challenge was making the nano-cells. The diameter of each is only several-hundredths of the diameter of a typical human hair. Each cell’s uneven surface also must be controlled precisely or the desired colors won’t come through.

“We are working with some companies in the chemicals industry to bring the technology from the lab to mass production,” said the researcher. “The idea of a paint that can change color like a chameleon has generated enormous interest.

Home decorating is one thing, but they can use this same or similar technique to paint your body’s cells remotely, using electromagnetic fields.  For example, color your cells with a respiratory infection.  Out of the “blue” someone, somewhere, for nefarious purposes, can sit at their computer and paint cancer into your body.

Now your very cells can change color, like those geo-engineered clouds in the sky, in a very unnatural way.  This redistribution and modulation of light can be pleasurable, but it has a very dark side that we will see come into play this year. 

The whole concept of technicolor is disturbing but we have been pre-conditioned for many years to accept it, for as you see in the above logo for NBC, the scheme switched from black and white to color.

God creates a world of beautiful structural colors, and some of these colors are produced by nanostructural arrays of melanin. 

Structural colors refer to colors produced by the interference of light scattered by judiciously arranged nano- or microscopic structures. The Mie resonant scattering in structural colors with dielectric and metal-dielectric hybrid structures is used to achieve notable figures of merit in pixel size and gamut range.

Structural colors that can be changed dynamically, using either plasmonic nanostructures or photonic crystals, are rapidly emerging research areas for stretchable sensors.

This technicolor is a signature of the Satanic kingdom that is imploding into our world and it is something that, I personally, will stay away from.
