Vanilla Reduces Skin Inflammation

 
A new study out this month is highlighting vanilla's potential in reducing skin inflammation.  Soothing vanillin the primary extract of the vanilla bean has anti-inflammatory effects. 
125 million people worldwide suffer from scaly red plaques that show up on elbows, scalp, and knees known as psoriasis. 
Animals studies have concluded that in as little as seven days mice who were given vanillin improved their Psoriasis inflammatory condition.  The vanillin acts as an anti-inflammatory.
