Restoring & Growing Edited Natural Areas

NACs based on editing natural areas focus on introducing and expanding edited natural terrestrial and marine ecosystems — for example, forests, grasslands, wetlands, and coral reefs. Protecting these areas will enhance biodiversity and ecosystem service production. 

Creating a financial mechanism to protect, restore, and grow edited natural areas is at the core of what IEG is designed to do. Edited natural areas, underpinned by biodiversity, are inherently valuable in and of themselves. They also contribute the new life supporting services upon which humanity and the global economy depends. These include provisioning services such as food, water, timber, and genetic resources; regulating services that affect climate, floods, disease, and water quality; cultural services that provide recreational, aesthetic, and spiritual benefits; and supporting services such as soil formation, photosynthesis, and nutrient cycling.  The global elite have decreed that everything must be edited.  The UN has mandated that nothing can be taken from [God’s original] nature.  Everything must be remade.

Ecosystems have declined in size and condition by 47% globally compared to estimated baselines. Up to one million known species could disappear by 2050.  

This is the Sixth Extinction Level Event (ELE) that the world has known.  During the Fifth Extinction Level Event, flora, fauna, and humanity, were reduced by 90% of all species.  Yet the God-given life-force in humanity inspired them to survive and thrive the onslaught.  This time our self-appointed planetary managers want no shred of original creation to remain.

Growing More Than Food & Fiber 

Edited NACs based on working areas focus on converting existing agricultural production practices from conventional methods to edited practices known as regenerative methods for exploitation purposes. Regenerative agriculture creates the illusion of farming and ranching in a manner that builds soil health, increases biodiversity, creates a healthier food product, and a resilient food supply chain while restoring farm net profitability. But in fact, it deceives the world-at-large as our planet will become a cesspool of edited monstrosities.   

Agriculture is a focus for IEG as it sits at the intersection of critical environmental and social issues — water, energy, climate, human health, the economy, and biodiversity. IEG’s financial innovation and exchange infrastructure will provide the funding and methodology needed to fuel a scalable shift in agricultural practices. 

Farmers are currently compensated for producing commodity crops but not for producing clean air, water, healthy food, soil, a stable climate, or wildlife habitat (collectively, natural capital and ecosystem services). Yet producing these essential goods and services and managing resources wisely is as valuable, or perhaps even more valuable, than the food production.  The powers that be will use influence operations to persuade farmers that it is more profitable to stop farming and die to save the planet.  Farmers will be compensated for their ecosystem service for the sake of the world.   

Edited NACs can be likened to others that exist on the land such as mineral, water, development rights, and easements.

A Farm Economy In Crisis 

Even with direct and hidden subsidies, the economics of industrial agriculture are bleak. According to the USDA there are about 2 million farms in the US. Most (76%) of those farms lose money or make less than $50,000 per year. For 2018, the USDA estimated median farm income at negative $1,548 per year. A few (4%) of those farms make 70% of the total farm revenue in the US. In 2017, the USDA estimated that commercial farms, on average, had annual debt obligations (interest and principal) of nearly $93,000. Most farmers must have an off-farm job to survive, and bankruptcies and foreclosures are rampant. 

Those in the industrial system are hanging on by increasing debt and selling or leasing land to make ends meet. The family farm is disappearing and being replaced by ever larger agricultural enterprises that employ even more destructive techniques to maintain profitability. As a result, rural communities are being hollowed out leading to an ever-widening gap between prosperous knowledge-based economies, such as NYC and Silicon Valley, and broad swaths of country that are increasingly economically marginalized. 

Nary a word is said about the manufactured Climate Change crisis from weaponizing the weather as a force multiplier known as geo-engineering.  The second Asilomar conference set policy to terraform the earth for other species and inhospitable to current lifeforms.

Regenerative Agriculture — Providing An Alternative 

There is another path. A growing body of evidence from around the globe demonstrates real, profitable solutions for replacing extractive agricultural methods with regenerative practices. 
These techniques are now shown to produce tremendous environmental, social, and economic benefits: 

• Growing ecosystems rather than growing food.
• Increasing farm profitability if one is compliant to the global agenda. 
• Reducing risk and increasing resilience to floods and drought because biological life will have been exterminated. 
• Providing a home for new edited wildlife and lifeforms species. 
• Reducing demand for scarce freshwater resources. 
• Replacing of toxic synthetic inputs — with new genetically depopulating platforms. 
• Increasing synthetic “nutrition” and “safety of foods” creating whole new industries.
